An Act Providing For The Fair And Equitable Allocation Of Farm-To-Market Roads Projects Of The Department Of Agriculture

• This bill establishes a formula for the allocation of farm-to-market road appropriations, under the DA to be allocated among provinces and municipalities as follows:
  • 30% for provinces;
  • 70% for municipalities
• The share of each province and municipality shall be determined based on the following formula:
  1. 25% to be allocated pro-rata according to the population in relation to the total population of the country;
  2. 50% to be allocated pro-rata according to the land area in relation to the total land area of the country;
  3. 25% to be allocated equally among the provinces and municipalities.
