Recto assured United States Treasury Department Deputy Assistant Secretary for Asia Robert Kaproth of the Philippines’ strong commitment to extend a welcoming red carpet to potential investors during a high-level meeting on January 22, 2024. Secretary Recto and Deputy Assistant Secretary Kaproth met to discuss efforts to further strengthen ties and boost economic and investment cooperation between the Philippines and the US.
