PHL-Japan Economic and Bilateral partnership discussed in Tokyo
IN PHOTOS: Finance Secretary Ralph G. Recto, together with other cabinet secretaries, took part in a roundtable discussion with Japanese media outlets on June 20, 2024 in Tokyo to set the stage for the Philippine Economic Briefing scheduled the next day.
The discussion centered on the Philippines and Japan’s economic and bilateral partnership, investment prospects in the Luzon Economic Corridor, and other potential sectors for collaboration following the historical trilateral meeting between the Philippines, Japan, and the US.
The roundtable gathered reporters from Yomiuri Shimbun, Asahi Shimbun, and Nikkei.
Joining Secretary Recto were Office of the Special Assistant to the President for Investment and Economic Affairs Secretary Frederick D. Go; National Economic and Development Authority; DTI Philippines Secretary Alfredo E. Pascual; Department of Transportation – Philippines Secretary Jaime J.
