An Act Modernizing Healthcare And Health Infrastructure, Providing Funds From The Annual Value-Added Tax Collections, Amending For The Purpose The National Internal Revenue Code Of 1997, As Amended

• Allocating 10% of annual VAT collections to fund the following: a) 10% to expand the immunization program; b) 30% to improve and modernize rural health units in the fourth to sixth-class municipalities; c) 20% to improve and modernize district and provincial hospitals; and d) 40% to establish specialty departments primarily engaged in the care of cardiac, lung, kidney and orthopedic conditions in medical centers and regional hospitals.
